When I bought my denim jacket I promised myself (and everyone else in Goodwill) that I would never use it as part of a denim-on-denim ensemble.
Today I broke my promise.
I can feel Seojie judging me all the way from LA…
OMG! I already went ‘Oh no….’ right when I read the word ‘denim!’
Folks, what not to do. Let this person be an example for all of you… While we’re all at it, take a note from these girls.
My boss who (I would say) is a huge Apple fanboy, is having a baby. When I figured this out through Twitter, I figured it would be a marvelous idea to get his baby a gift.
I didn’t want to get his baby just any gift, though, and my options were very limited seeing that my boss wanted absolutely no pink for his soon-to-be newborn baby girl. Also, I didn’t want to get him something that everyone who shopped within a capitalistic society could get. You get the point, I wanted to get something unique.
So, here’s what happened. I ended up Googling ‘Apple-themed baby gifts’ and was led to a wonderful Mashable article that eventually led me to Etsy. When seeing the item on Etsy, I was like, ‘OH, HOW CUTE! I COULD TOTALLY MAKE THAT!’ seeing as I’ve made my own Indian costume for Halloween Freshman year of college.
And, what did I get? A jankily sewed onsie.
Sorry, baby, if I’m going to make you look like someone smoked out of a crackpipe while making your outfit (that is, if your parents decide to even dress you in my creation). :(

Kudos to the Etsy seller who was smart enough to think of this. Sorry I didn’t actually purchase your item—my boss isn’t having twins.
My current view. Sitting with Bassem, Yadira, and our friend Nadine :)
Because I no longer have the time to keep up with Tumblr!!! Gr.
After seeing a face like this, how could you eat it?!
driph asked: Sigh, tumblr really needs to let ya reply to replies.
I have my books arranged on the shelf by color, and since the regular US Potter books are all different colors, I ordered the "adult" UK set, which is all black with, apparently, more grown-up cover designs. Now they'll be able to all live together once I'm done with the series. :]
The Half-Blood Prince was my FAVORITE out of the entire series!
More importantly, I want to Rowling to write more HP books. I know, it’s the best/most smart decision to discontinue all HP writings, but I want to know what happens to everyone! Or can’t she write a book on Dumbledore growing up?!?!!?
Disclaimer: I’m not going to lie, I hopped on the bandwagon after the first movie came out because, when my mom bought The Sorcerer’s Stone out of nowhere when it first came out, I could not get into it for the life of me. It also took me like FOREVER to read the entire series.
And, one last thing, why do people care about Cedric Diggory?! I thought he was annoying as hell and wanted him to go away!!
Perk: When she finds out I bought something or went shopping, she does not bite my head off like my mom used to.
Dis-benefit: She won’t leave me alone and wants me to hang out with her all day long. Actually, this just makes me feel like shit and makes me feel horrible/guilty.
That’s all.
Oh, PS, I don’t think “dis-benefit” is a real word.
Now that I think of it, maybe I should’ve just used Pros and Cons. College has really taught me a lot, if you can’t already tell.
